Tips For A Healthy Lifestyle
“We are what we eat."
Change all your foods that contain saturated fats to unsaturated fats. Saturated fatty acids increase “bad" cholesterol, while unsaturated ones include “good" cholesterol. Foods like olive oil, walnuts, almonds, and avocado are examples.
Do daily exercise
This improves your physical and mental health. Yoga is a practice that combines not only body and mind, but also exercise, endurance, and flexibility. It is very essential to stretch the muscles so that you can move flexibly. However, the regular practice of Yoga is still recommended for a healthy lifestyle.
Eliminate toxic habits such as tobacco
Smoking does not only has long-term detrimental effects, but it also damages your health on a daily basis. Tobacco primarily affects your lung capacity, and you can be tired easily when you exercise intensely. As for tobacco, there is no amount of smoke that is not harmful to your health. Smoking, even a single cigarette a day increases the odds of dying younger by 64%.
Keep your friends: Socialize
Love and friendship improve our mental well-being, motivation, and happiness. Maintaining and enhancing social activity will make your life better. Isolation can lead, as you age, to a deterioration of your physical and mental capacities. We are not limited to yoga; we also organize events and collaborations to get to know each other better and have a good time together.
Drink water at meals
The human body is composed of 65%, so drinking enough water is fundamental for us. With stress and a busy schedule, it is harder to remember to drink enough water. However, we can change beer, wine or soda for a bottle of water at lunch and dinner. Besides, we should drink water even we are not thirsty since the daily recommended water intake is about 2.5L in adults.
